And, in 2013, a BBC Radio 5 live investigation found sites where hackers exchanged pictures and videos of people captured without their knowledge.

If these are opened by a user, a hacker can gain remote control of the functions on their computer, including the webcam.
Security company Symantec warned uses not to keep computers with webcams in their bedrooms and "not to do anything in front of one that they wouldn't want the world to see".
According to Prof Alan Woodward, a computer security expert from the University of Surrey, said: "There is so much malware that can access these physical parts of a computer and observe and listen to users.
